Mystic Followed Tender as she lay down ontop of the den, Watching Maya sit there, staring at him, Mystic yawned as she rolled back and Fell asleep.

Maya smiled playfuly, then it faded when she was picked up. When she was set down she slowly looked up at Tender. "I was careful.." She smiled a bit.

Flamelake sighed "I dont care maya.. even if pups are careful you can still be hurt.. just like adults can..." He flashed her is tail where lay huge scars clawed allong from bum to tip (didn't know how else to say it)

He hoped the large scars would help maya understand, he had never shown them to anyone before. "Even adults get hurt maya.. please be careful" He looked down at the pup.

Maya's eyes widened and she nodded quickly. "Did a bear do it?"

"No.. eagle..nasty creaturs.. there small but fast... thats why you must be careful they prey on pups... i got tha from defending a loners pup." Flamelake smiled a little and lay down and licked Maya's head "Just promise you will stay close?"

Flamelake smiled, pushed the pup over onto her back and nosed her belly tickling her "SIlly young thing" He laught before rolling over himself looking up at teh sky.

Maya giggled and gazed up at the clouds. "That one looks like its going to rain." She pointed with her paw to a large black cloud.

Maya felt a drop hit her nose, she smiled and leaped up to catch more drops on her tounge, she continued leaping until the rain came down harder. She fell on her back and rolled back up. "I love rain, I hope it comes down hard!" She said, leaping again.

Mystic woke up in a panic, Feeling the rain on her fur as she jumped off the den and ran like a crazy woman in to it "I dont like rain!" I shouted as i cuddled in a corner with my head under my tail, Trying to keep warm and Dry.

Maya watched Mystic. "Why not?" She asked as rain came down making her pelt damp.

Flamelake picked maya up and walked to the den, and set her down "Stay out of the rain" he curled up beside mystic keeping her dry. "Come on over maya keep warm."

Maya longed to play in the rain and explore, knowing she couldn't bored her. She puffed then gazed outside.

Mystic Yawned as she opened her eye's "Dont worry, Once your older you'll be able to go and play by yourself" I said as i put my head around Maya.

When morning came,
Maya woke, she was in a bad mood. She yawned then grumpily walked to the mouth of the den and sat.

Temder sighed and licked maya "Fancy going to explore with me?" he chuckled bending down to face the pup. "I could really use some help finding those rabbit holes"

Mystic yawned as she got up and accidently Stood on Tender "Oh, Sorry, Im Tired" I said as i giggled and trotted off, Stretching as i walked out the den, I trotted down the muddy hill, Through the Forest Full of Twig's hitting me on my way, and down to the water Hole to drink, After she drank and had a wash, She trotted off to the hunting Ground's for some thing to eat, She was normally a scavenger, Eating the bit's off other kill's instead of hunting alone, After she filled up she walked back up to the den, As she flopped down and fell asleep on the den again.
