The Den~

Tender laughed before sitting down in the entrance waiting for silver to come home. He wrapped his tail aroud the pup to keep her close.

"I know, is it a crime to care?" Tender threw the rock back with quite a bit of force, he was nervous today. He didn't know why but he felt something was going to hapen.. something strange..something he had felt before.

Maya grew annoyed. Doesnt he trust me? She wondered, gazing up at Tender.

Flamelake smiled at the young pup, all he wanted was to make sure the pup was safe. "Tell you what, when we get to the forest i'll let you explore by yourself for a bit while i hunt that ok Maya?"

Tender pricked his ears and tore off down the hill. He skidded to a stop beside Mystic and saw her foot caught "dont worry..we'll get you out" He pushed at the rocks trying to get them to move.

Maya smiled. "Ok!" Then she picked her ears up. "Mystic's stuck!" She said and ran north.

As Maya searched for Mytic, something shiny caught her eye. She stopped and went the other way, out of the pack's territory.
She caught up to it and pinned it down, it was strange looking and foul smelling.
(A snickers bar candy wrapper that blew away.)

Maya puffed then started exploring out of the pack territory.

Tender smiled and nommed on mystics ears "Silly old thing" He chuckled. He lent against her side helping her to stand. "COme on lets get you home."

Maya started wandering far away from the pack borders, her nose sniffing wildly and her tail wagging above her.

Tender was focused on helping mystic, he didn't see the small paw prints leading away. "I hope Maya has behaved while we were away." Tender smiled. His ears perked and he stopped. "Mystic try and make it back to camp by yourself... i have to..erm..check somethign out.."

Maya yawned and found a large rock, she leaped on it and sunned. Enjoying being alone.

Tender followed the small paw prints and spotted Maya laying on the rock, he was about to walk out when bushes on the other side rusled, Tender dropped to the floor, the scent was familiar...Maya was in trouble now. Tenders legs froze waiting for the large white wolf to emerge, the one he knew was comming. "Maya.. if i was cleaver.. run.." Teneder thought to himself.

Maya rolled her eyes the noice, thinking it was a rabbit, she leaped off the rock and sniffed at the other bush where the russling was.

Tenders breathwent deep he had no choice... He darted out of eth bushes over and into the bushes at the other side rollign along with the large white wolf. He clawed and bit witha ll his might drawing the wolf away from Maya. He finally managed to pin him "WHY HAVE YOU COME HERE!" Tender growled at the wolf. "I TOLD YOU I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!"
THe White wolf glared at him and sighed "Nighema..Is dead...." He placed his head down.
Tenders eyes widened and he jumped off the wolf.
"How?" Tenders eyes were low and dark with shock.
"Bear trap.."

Tenders eyes gave way and tears cascaded down his cheeks, he felt torn.

Maya growled at the stranger. "Hey! Your not a rabbit." She spat at him and bared her little teeth.

Tender shook his head "Maya .. this is Talon.. My father..Father this is Maya..a pup of my pack"
Tender glanced at the large white wolf and sighed "Bear trap..."

Maya poked Talon with her claw. "He's werid looking." She said, seeing his size.
